Funktion

Summary Job Position: Manage one or more complex IT Projects, ensuring that budget, scope, time

and quality are met as well as ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Ensure that a good

customer relationship is built and maintained. Budget and planning responsibilities for all managed

projects. Timely and accurate status reporting both internally and externally. Potential Line

Management of resources.


Description of the role

 Plan and deliver agreed scope to company clients with high level of client satisfaction and

meeting various project constraints (time, budget, scope, quality, etc.)

 Manage and lead project teams primarily in the development of financial systems

 Ensure company project management process and software development methodology are

followed

 Establish relationship with the client and manage client related communication and

expectations, (client communication, harvesting new work, customer satisfaction and

providing value adding services)

 Lead/participate in projects to analyse client requirements in order to design and implement

efficient and effective systems

 Project Management: planning, managing, monitoring and controlling various project areas

including tracking of timelines, resource allocation, budgets, project costs and quality of

deliverables

 Project Initiation: project commencement tasks including participating in contract reviews,

commercial arrangements, kick off meetings, etc

 Client Management: maintaining the relationship with the client, ensuring that project

activities occur, change management, risk & issue management, dispute resolution and

status reporting

 Project Budget Management: project budget preparation, estimate deliverables, budgetary

control and accountability

 New Business: finding new business and/or assisting with potential new sales this will

include pre-sales activities like responding to RFIs, cost estimation, site visits,

demonstrations etc

 Business Knowledge of the finance industry and White Clarke products

 Facilitating and managing client workshops

 Training, transfer of knowledge and expertise

Anforderungen

 Proven ability to deliver large, complex projects on time & on budget

 PMI or PRINCE2 certification

 Several years of experience with managing project teams in IT

 Knowledge of MS Office toolset

 Strong management skills:

o Ability to take ownership and be responsible for actions

o Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)

o Attention to detail, with ability to produce clear, concise documentation

o Ability to work as part of a small team

o Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

o Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst multitasking

 Strong client skills as this is a client facing role:

o Excellent presentation skills

o Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must

o Professional image

o Well-developed analytical capabilities

 Willingness to wear many hats as this role require the individual to participate in all aspects

of the projects including documentation and testing

 Willingness to travel and to spend short periods of time away from home on occasion

 Fluent German and English in verbal and written communications


Desired

 Experience in business analysis (writing/reviewing requirement specifications) or hands-on

development

 Business experience gained within the finance industry – asset finance or motor finance

 Experience with JIRA/Confluence
